You may be able to wash it, but I make no guarantees. You can view most of the stains in the photos. Most of them lie on the bill rim and sides. There are some lighter stains on the front near the embroidery that are not nearly as noticeable. The embroidery is in good condition and the hook and loop is in good condition.
