The Art Journal for 1877 . VOL 3 NY Published by Appleton & co 1877 D. A ppleton and Co. began The Art Journal in 1875 as an American edition of the older London-based ART JOURNAL. It included original content as well as content from the London journal. The journal was taken over by Patterson and Neilson around 1881, and ceased publication in 1887. Over all in great condition, some scratches and scuffs on cover, all pages in perfect condition.
