Rare Nelson ASV New Testament Psalms Bible American Standard Version Leather 353 This is a splendid pocket-sized ASV that contains only the New Testament. It has a somewhat faint text, firm text block that is sewn and reinforced. It features art-gilding, leather binding (though a bit stiff). ASV New Testament are a rare find! A blank intro page was filled, there is a piece of leather at he front cover’s corner that has chipped off, and I noticed that some pages have a faint yellow spotting, indicative of old paper. The art gilt was in quite good condition. Some fading, but no noticeable scratches, surprisingly. The size is so nice in the hand and fits in most pockets. This truly is a rare and beautiful find and would be a fantastic rebind! 4.7 x 3.5 x .8 inches Dime used for comparison Note: I do not accept returns unless the item was not as I described because of a mistake I made. I always list any writing, stains, tears, or imperfection of any kind. And I always list the condition conservatively, so you should expect the item to be in better condition than listed. Unlike the vast majority of sellers out there, I refuse to hide imperfections through cleverly taken pictures or obscure descriptions. I try to include as many pictures as necessary to highlight the imperfections rather than the beauty of the items, which is part of why I have an elevated Seller Status and perfect feedback in which many consistently report back “just as described” or “better than described.” If I miss something by accident, please contact me so I can make it right. Seller’s description and pictures were very helpful. The description said that there was no fojnd writing, but upon nope king the Bible I immediately saw a significant amount of underlining, mostly in the New Testament. It was done neatly so not a huge deal, but not as described. Overall happy with the purchase, but feel as if the price was a bit high considering this omission.
