Physical Properties of Polymers by James Mark, Kia Ngai, William Graessley, Leo Mandelkern, Edward Samulski, Jack Koenig, George Wignall Estimated delivery 3-12 business days Format Paperback Condition Brand New Description Polymer science is a rapidly developing branch of modern materials chemistry. This book is a revised and up-dated third edition of this textbook. Publisher Description The third edition of this well known textbook discusses the diverse physical states and associated properties of polymeric materials. The contents of the book have been conveniently divided into two general parts, 'Physical States of Polymers' and 'Characterization Techniques'. Written by seven of the leading figures in the polymer science community, this third edition has been thoroughly updated and expanded. As in the second edition, all of the chapters contain general introductory material and comprehensive literature citations designed to give newcomers to the field an appreciation of the subject and how it fits into the general context of polymer science. Containing numerous problem sets and worked examples this third edition provides enough core material for a one semester survey course at the advanced undergraduate or graduate level. Author Biography James E Mark is a Distinguished Research Professor for the department of Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. He has been a Visiting Professor at several institutions as well as having extensive research and consulting experience in industry. His current research interests pertain to the physical chemistry of polymers, including the elasticity of polymer networks, hybrid organic-inorganic composites, liquid-crystalline polymers, and a variety of computer simulations. A Fellow of the American Physical Society, he is also an editor of the journal 'Polymer'. Book arrived today, 2 days before deadline given by the seller. Well-packaged & in good condition. Price was very competitive, & the book was accurately listed. Great communication. I appreciate the seller getting back to me when I was having trouble tracking the book's delivery progress. Apparently there were 2 different tracking numbers - one in Canada & the other in the U.S., since it was initially shipped from Canada. Thank you very much for your quick response & helpful information.

The book came in new condition as described. Very beautiful book at a fair price. The shipping only took 9 days which was pretty fast considered that it had been shipped from another country. The seller sent a tracking link via message after shipping the book which was very much appreciated since the carrier was not a widely used one in the US. Overall this shopping experience was perfect for me. The seller is highly recommended.
