It appears in near-perfect condition. It has near-perfect gilding, no writing except the presentation page, a box in excellent condition, and a tight text block. Pay attention to the pictures because they show how clear and consistent the Jewel the typeface is and how non-existent the ghosting or “bleed through” is. This is a very quality edition. The red letter is especially clear and red. It was unread or read very little. Would make a great rebind due to the quality of the paper and art gilt, though could be used well without as well.
