OOP Nelson NRSV New Revised Standard Version Bible Blue Genuine Leather Duke This is an out of print Nelson NRSV with flexible, smooth, dark blue, genuine leather binding, still with its original shrink-wrap which I opened to take the pictures. This is the same edition that Duke Divinity School used to give to its graduates, a highly popular NRSV editions due to its relative rarity. The page edges have two very minor imperfections; small scrapes. But only noticed from an angle. What really stands out about this one is that it contains page for the husband and wife’s family history for a wedding. The typeface is fantastic. It has fantastic binding and is in flawless condition, clearly. It has a lovely, rich grain to it. I always list any writing, stains, tears, or imperfection of any kind. And I always list the condition conservatively, so you should expect the item to be in better condition than listed. Unlike the vast majority of sellers out there, I refuse to hide imperfections through cleverly taken pictures or obscure descriptions. I try to include as many pictures as necessary to highlight the imperfections rather than the beauty of the items, which is part of why I have an elevated Seller Status and perfect feedback in which many consistently report back “just as described” or “better than described.” If I miss something by accident, please contact me so I can make it right. Seller’s description and pictures were very helpful. The description said that there was no fojnd writing, but upon nope king the Bible I immediately saw a significant amount of underlining, mostly in the New Testament. It was done neatly so not a huge deal, but not as described. Overall happy with the purchase, but feel as if the price was a bit high considering this omission.
