2011 Walt Disney World Mickey Mouse Ear Hat ~ Celebrating 40 Years of WDW ~ New & Rare "Corrected" Version This listing is for an adult size WDW 40th Anniversary "Scrapbook Collage" Mickey Mouse Earhat. This hat features an embroidered patch of Mickey with the 40 Years "Classic D" logo. It also has on the front a small white & red button-like element glued on that has the "40 D est. 1971" design. The base has poster artwork, characters, and souvenir items from the 40 years of the Walt Disney World Resort. Some images featured include: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell from Peter Pan, the Florida Orange Bird, Journey Into Imagination's Figment & Dreamfinder, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT Center, Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Haunted Mansion attraction poster, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea attraction poster, a Downtown Disney Pleasure Island's DisneyQuest one-day pass, Discovery Island, and Pirates of the Caribbean. When this ear hat was originally announced & released, the back also was to have a small button-like element that was glued on. It was supposed to be a Walt Disney World Epcot Center button. However due to a spelling error - Disney was misspelled "Disny" - Disney went through and pulled all the earhats to remove that "button". Once they did that then Disney placed them back on the gift shop shelves to sell them. This hat is that version and does have a dried glue spot where the button would have been. The spot is to the upper left of Dreamfinder on the Mickey Mouse doll. This is NEW & NEVER WORN - and is in great condition and has the original price sticker!
