Nature Encyclopedia has a chipped/torn upper spine edge. The other three are in better condition: Our Amazing Earth; Roget's Thesaurus; and An Encyclopedia of Mechanical Knowledge. No scent to any.. Item was exactly as described, and in excellent condition considering its age and initial purpose as an automotive shop manual.
