Description
For your consideration is a wonderful first edition of "Journal of the Life, Travels and Gospel Labours of that Faithful Servant and Minister of Christ" by Job Scott. 1797 printing, in the original leather calf binding. Wear to the edges as shown, specifically on the spine, and both the front and rear hinges are cracked but still strong and intact. No missing pages, no loose pages, and internals are generally clean. Inscribed 1797 in fantastic calligraphy from a notable local family (Howland Greene's son, also Howland, was known for his early research on New York). Being inscribed 1797 means this is not only a 1797 edition, but it was actually printed that year. Fair wear and tear, but still very strong and certainly one of the better examples available. FREE shipping to the USA and we're happy to ship internationally at cost. Thanks for looking!
