FIVE YEAR DIARY Published by Bert Manufacturing Company Irvington-on-Hudson, N.Y. Made in U.S.A. Size: 4 1/2" x 6" x 1" This is a leather-bound, antique diary with a cover that is reddish brown in color. It is unused, so all the dated pages are still blank (no one has ever written in any part of it). But it does have several pages at the beginning with pre-printed text covering: 12 pages of "Horoscopes" with entries for each astrological sign. "Weather Wisdom" "Standard Time" "Weights and Measures" "Foreign Cities, Later Than New York Time" "Legal Holidays in the Various States" "Distances by Boat Between New York and the other Sea Ports" "Words Frequently Misspelled" I don't know how old this vintage diary is as there is no date printed on the inside, but judging by its looks, content & similar books of the time, I'd guess early 1900's . Condition: There's significant wear & tear around the edges (shelf wear) and a scuff mark on the back, but it's in decent shape for its apparent age.
