Antique Encyclopedia Brittanica 1910 - 1911 Eleventh Edition 29 Volume Complete Set. This is a local pick up only sale. I will not be able to ship this set, as the shipping costs would be astronomical. Each book weighs approximately 4-5lbs. (5x29 volumes = 145lbs) I'm only able to post 24 photos for this listing, but I have many more photos. If you're interested in seeing more, please message me and I'd be happy to send more photos your way! This is a complete set of the Encyclopedia Britannica. The set was published in 1910-1911. The first half of the set is marked 1910 second half is marked 1911. The set was published by Cambridge England, University Press of New York. The books were printed by R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, Chicago. This is a 28 volume encyclopedia set, with an additional index book, bringing the total number of books in this set to 29. The books are in excellent condition for their age. After leafing through every single book I could only find one page with a small tear along the top edge of the page. See photos. There are no pen marks or writings on any of its pages. This book set includes color pages as well as black-and-white photographs. See photos for examples. These hardcover books are bound with linen fabric and leather binding. Some of the covers do have what appears to be slight watermarks. See photos. The damage I would say is very minimal. The books do not have a musty smell. There is some wear at the edges of the books, consistent with use. See photos. This is a gorgeous, well cared for set of antique encyclopedias!
