Country Life is a British weekly magazine which launched in 1897. It frequently covers topics such as architecture and furnishing of country estates, hunting, gold, racing and other sports. CONDITION In a half straight-grained morocco. Externally, sound with rubbing at extremities and joints. Wear to head and tail of the spine. Spine faded. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright though cockled, with occasional spotting heavier to first and last few pages. This now sits alongside a companion volume, another work of Worcestershire historian and antiquarian, John Noak. I very much looking forward to reading it.
