As-is, with front board loose and partially affixed by tape. Some restoration attempts to leather on spine. Cracking to front hinge. Some early pages appear reattached. Markings and marginalia to text block, primarily at front. Some losses to leather on spine. Text block remains bound well. Ex-library bookplate and holder from the University of Minnesota at front. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A rare first edition of the complete yearly publications of the Madras (Chennai) Law Journal. Founded in 1891, it was the first recognized law journal in British India.
