People's Cyclopedia of Universal Knowledge 3 Vol Set Year: 1887 17th Edition Volume I - A - E Volume II - F - P Volume III - P - Appendices Total: 2147 pages Phillips & Hunt Publishers New York Condition: The tan colored leather hardcovers are in poor condition.The leather is literally falling apart and disintegrating, leaving tan powder on things so be cautious!! The hardcover backing fell off Volume I and the binding is beginning to come loose. Volume II is in the best shape of the three and it's binding is still good. Volume III has tears on the Hardcover but the binding is still pretty good. The interior pages are clean and well preserved with the exception of discolorations from age on the edges of some, but no missing pages on all three. This came from my great, great uncle's library so it is inscribed and stamped with his name inside. Please see all photos.
