Wear and chipping to boards. Tips are bumped with exposed boards. Edges are scuffed. Joints and hinges are cracked. Chipping and cracking to spine. Red leather title plate is cracked but still mostly legible. Speckling to fore edges. Provenance on flyleaf (Melanie Jory[?]). Bottom half of plate II has been torn off. Toning, age-staining, tea-staining, and ink-staining throughout textblock. Rear endpaper has been torn out. Illustrations throughout including fold-out plates. Please see photos.
